Running at 5Hz

Hello all,

I would like to understand if there is a way to be able to run the DF robot gnss at 5Hz instead of the default 1Hz. The ardunio library doesn’t seem to have anything but the hardware should be feasible With an L76k so wondering if this has been achieved. I wanted the system in an rc telemetry system to map the track with my gforce meter. but the current resolution doesn’t let me get a good flow of the track so need more samples per second

Yeah was hoping someone had done this already to know if it was possible. Claude is very unsure and the circuits are buried in the case beneath a load of wires so is a pain to resolder and sort out

I also found in the data manual that it states that the "update" function can be used to change the frequency to a new value. The default frequency is 1 Hz. However, it seems that there is no explanation on how to update it. You can try sending the data manual to the AI and let it analyze whether it is possible to change the frequency by sending MTK commands via UART.
