Powering Mega IO Expansion Shield and WPM with USB or barrel jack

Hello,
I am using a Mega IO Expansion Shield For Arduino Mega V1.2 and a DFRduino Mega 2560.
When I connect the Wireless Programming Module on the Expansion Shield and I power it with an USB cable connected to the Mega it works perfectly.
problems appear when I power the Mega with a barrel jack connected to a battery pack.
i have tried other options, like connecting to the barrel jack an ac-dc adapter, so it isn't a problem of lack of power.
I am sure it must be a stupid mistake.
Could any of you help me?
thank you

I see, you should power the mega board from 7V to 12V if you power the board via a barrel jack or ac-dc adapter connect to the DC stocket ;)

2013-03-21 03:43:02 Hello,
when I power the Mega with a barrel jack (connected to a battery pack or an ac-dc adapter) the WPM does not work.
But, when I power the Mega via USB WPM works correctly.
I have done a quick draw.(Attached)
Thank you

You mean when you power the mega with a battery pack, the wireless programming module does not work well?
You later say that it isn't a problem of lack power, so what is your problem? can you give more details?
Best regards
Phoebe
