6DOF Arduino Shield Trouble with xbee

I have bought 2 6DOF Shield for arduino. With the both shield I have the same trouble : Without Xbee module, all is right, my project is functional (it's a pendulum bot). But when i put a xbee module all the arduino go down. All seems to be freeze.
I try the two shield on a DFRDUINO UNO V3 and on a Arduino UNO R3 with the same result.
Have you an idea about what happen ?
With only the shield and an arduino with an empty sketch give the same result ....

If the xbee module is not plug in : All is alright
When I put the Xbee module, on the shield, On Led is on, ASSOC Led is not off and not on, in the middle
on the arduino, (with the blink sketch) : Green led stay on and orange LED stay on
Is it better ?

So independently of the Xbee is it freeze or not? not sure what you mean..
