DFRduino Player - Connected to an External Amplifier

In my project I will power the Arduino + DFRduino Player + Car Audio Amplifier with an ATX PC Power Supply.

The Arduino and DFRduino Player will receive the +5V and the Car Audio Amplifier the +12v.

The Amplifier is a Audio Booster, meaning that it does not have a volume control and is designed to receive the signal directly form the Car Radio Speaker usind its HIGH INPUTS.

My question is: Its safe to hook up the DFRduino Player to this anplifier? I will burn my DFRduino Player?

My Best Regards,
Augusto Pizarro
2013-09-26 02:23:07 Hi,
this picture is perfect.
It looks like to connect the Capacitors, it will protect the input.
I have a question.why remote must receive 12v?
and from your connection schematic .there 5 pin is connect to the control interface?  CD player?

keep me updated,
Grey

2013-09-25 17:17:24 I made a Photoshop in the pictures to easy see the trails.

The input conector is in the bottom left, its a 5 pin connector. The middle one is the REMOTE, it must receive 12v to turn ON the amplifier. The others are the input.

2013-09-24 22:48:54 Yeah, 4 blue capacitors are connected to the 2 input of TDA8566Q. They will protect TDA chip.
As the picture the protection should be connected to the signal input
Could you tell me where is the sound signal input on PCB board(I can't see it clearly.)?
I am not sure whether the capacitors will protect the signal input.
It is better to find the schematic of the amplifier.

2013-09-24 04:14:35 Dear Grey,

yes it has. As we can see in the photos above, the 4 blue capacitors and two 47omhs resitors are wired to the inputs of the TDA. One capacitor per line input plus the resistor before them linking "line1+" to "line1-".

Do you think its safe to plug the DFR Player?

2013-09-23 23:34:13 Hi?Augusto Pizarro
Most of Car Audio Amplifier signal input has a current protection. It will protect the current feedback to  burn the board through the sound wire.Like this picture, the capacitance is used to protect the board. Could you find your caraudio amplifier schematic like this one?

2013-09-23 14:50:44 I am providing more information about the Amplifier so you guys can help me.

The main CI is a TDA85660.

Below its a simple schematic of how it is wired to a Car Audio Stereo.

Can I attach the DFRduino Player to it without fear, or I my use some protection circuit? If I must use a protection circuit, how to build it?
