LCD Keypad Shield for Arduino - DFR0009 - V1.0 vs V1.1

Hi,
Two years ago I bought a DFROBOT DFR0009 V1.0 with the 6 buttons having the same lenght.
As my tool was over used, in order to get spares, I bought 2 DFR0009 V1.1, the 6 buttons are not all the same (5 longs and the reset one is Short => not that big issue...) but As I replace my previous LCD Keypad Shield V1.0 by the new one v1.1, the button are not fonctionning the same way.
Could you tell me if the Pin distribution is the same, and if I need to change my code.
Could you tell me how i can manage to get the delta between the two devices (V1.0 vs V1.1)
Thanks in advance.

2014-10-15 18:02:56 Hello,
Yeah, it is very clear. Thank you.
So I suggest you to test the module with the sample code. It could expel other factors.
It is very fast. Just 1 minutes should be OK. If it still doesn't work, please contact DFRobot technical support:

2014-10-15 00:07:39 Hi !
Grey thanks very much for the advice.
I apologize for my english. I know that sometimes i'm not that clear.
1st- my V1.1 shields are brand new.
2nd- right now, on my robot/tool I got a V1.0 shield which is working. (Butons: Select, Left, Up , Down, right, and reset)
3rd- when I switch the shield. From V1.0 to a V1.1. The Buttons (Select, Left, Down, right, and reset) seems not working at all. the Up button does not launch the right answer.
As I haven't implement/code the program, I thought that i could switch the shield like a standard part. Am I wrong?
In my tool code/program is there any data that i have to switch or change to make my tool work with the V1.1 shield ?
Hope that i am more clear. I thank you in advance for your help.

2014-10-14 19:44:34 Hello Emadoug,
The short RESET button will avoid the palm rejection.
You mean the buttons are broken? Did you try the wiki sample code?
