XBoard Relay DOA??

I just received my new XBoard Relay and attempted to connect it to my Windows 7 machine to upload a sketch. As soon as I plug it in, the relays start firing once every second and do not stop.
The computer does not even detect that I've plugged anything in. I've successfully connected to other Arduinos before and I have installed the latest IDE software.
I've tried two different windows 7 machines and three USB cables total with no luck.
Did I receive a bad board? Is there anything I can do??

2014-12-02 06:26:28 Update: I finally got the board to be recognized by the computer. I think the issue may have been that every cable I tried was either bad or was a device charging only USB cable. I tried one last cable, my Amazon Kindle Paperwhite cable, and it worked. As soon as I plugged it in, the computer recognized the board.
A quick search shows that many USB cables sold these days are strictly for charging devices and don't work with data transfer. But, I know two of the other cables I tried should have been for data transfer as well, so I'm not sure what the problem exactly was.
But, just wanted to let everyone know mine is now communicating with the computer and I was able to upload a sketch.
Thank you!

2014-11-29 23:23:06 Hello guys,
I am Grey from DFRobot.
We uploaded a relay testing code in the xboard. The relay should be work.
But it is strange, why the computer can't find the device. Have you installed the Leonarodo driver before, or could you download a new version Arduino IDE, It is better to install the installer which could detect the USB device automatically.
Anyway, I will do some test next Monday.

2014-11-28 10:52:24 This is the reply I got from tech support.
"Thank you for contacting DFRobot technical support.
The new batch should come with a click testing code. If you find the relays are running once a second.
That is OK.
Let us know if you have further questions or suggestions."

2014-11-27 07:06:05 Sounds like a bad batch possibly. I'll be sure to let you know what I hear from support by updating this forum.
Thanks for the reply!
