Is the power button on LattePanda supposed to move In/out like the the reset button? Mine does NOT!

The board works, however, it always powers on immediately up on inserting USB power.
Pushing the power button does nothing at any time, so far as I can tell.
the POWER BUTTON does NOT look the same as the reset button. it is completely FLUSH, and DOES NOT DEPRESS OR MOVE.
DID I RECEIVE A DEFECTIVE BOARD?
IS THE POWER BUTTON SUPPOSED TO OPERATE LIKE THE RESET BUTTON? IT DOESN"T appear to MOVE AT ALL.
IF I HAVE A DEFECTIVE BOARD, WHAT DO I DO, NOW? It's going to be difficult to STOP THE PROJECT to wait for a replacement. how do I proceed?

Is it possible to change the way the power button is working on the LattePanda Alpha? Do you have any experience with it? In order to perform a hard shutdown, you need to hold it down. To make it work, you should press it down for several seconds as well, so it initiates the boot. Can this be changed? Thanks. che.utexas
