Programming Romeo BLE mini via Bluetooth

Does anyone have any information on if it is possible to upload a .hex file to the Romeo BLE Mini via bluetooth?
I built an app that controls the BLE mini, so connectivity is not an issue.
I'm also able to upload the .hex file and parse it accordingly. I don't need to compile the app, just push it to the BLE mini. However, everything I'm seeing is uploading via serial connection.
Any help would be much appreciated.
