Question about Gravity: DC Motor Driver (TB6612FNG) AND DFRduino UNO R3 with IO Expansion Shield
hi im fairly new with gravity, not with arduino itself and have some questions
i would by the following items:
- 1 X DFRduino UNO R3 with IO Expansion Shield and USB Cable A-B
- 2 X 2x1.2A DC Motor Driver with Gravity Connector TB6612FNG
- additional 3 motors on the motor driver (2 on one and one on one)
i would hook this al up together but im concerned about the power.
it seems logic that i connect a power supply to the UNO R3 itself, but do i have to power the expansion shield and the motor drivers itself also?
If yes wich is the best practise?
could someone help me with this?
the reason i chose for the separated motor drivers is because of the easyness of the shield, on the shield i would add the following components also:
* wifibee
* ph sensor
* orp sensor
* 3 pressure sensors
* temperature sensor
would al this not be too much for the board? should i provide a cooling mechanism?
goal of my project: a spa/jaccuzi sensor analysing tool with a dispenser system for ph plus/minus and chlorine (the tree motors are for this for adding powder to the pool, the tree sensors are from detecting of the canister of one powder is (almost) empty). the wifibee is for connecting via mqtt to my domotic system
