Introduction

Water-proof Ultrasonic Sensor (ULS) is a high‑performance ultrasonic distance measurement module designed with an enclosed waterproof probe for reliable operation in demanding environments. Based on ultrasonic echo ranging, this long‑range distance sensing unit determines target distance by measuring the time interval between transmitted sound pulses and received echoes, enabling accurate non‑contact measurement. The sealed ultrasonic ranging module supports detection of transparent objects, metals, non‑metals, liquids, solids, and granular materials. A specially designed bell‑mouth acoustic structure improves sound wave directivity and stability, making this industrial‑grade ultrasonic detector suitable for outdoor monitoring, robotics navigation, and environmental measurement systems.

Note: the internal probe surface is regarded as the detecting starting point by default. If the plane of the bell-mouth is used as the starting reference, subtract 40mm from the measured distance.


Sealed Waterproof Probe for Harsh Environments

An enclosed waterproof ultrasonic probe enables stable operation in outdoor and industrial environments where moisture, dust, or splashing liquids may be present.
