SHARP latest model, 5-beam infrared distance sensor. It provides 25-degree scanning range and the resolution of 5 degrees. Infrared sensors are usually just an infrared emission control, and this model has five sensors arranged in accordance with a certain angle infrared emission tube. Each launch tube arranged in a 5 degree angle, so you can provide the detection range of up to 25 degrees.
