seeMote Cap

HOW IT WORKS

Attach it. Track the tool in space.

Cap adds spatial tracking to the object your experience depends on.
  • Attach Attach seeMote Cap to the tools you already use. Designed for tool-mounted development, seeMote Cap helps teams prototype spatial input around familiar handheld tools.
  • Track Make physical tools seen and tracked. Tells your visionOS app the tool's position, angle, and motion in real time — with 6DoF accuracy and 270° tracking range.

Demonstration shown in a training simulation setup. seeMote Cap is a development accessory, not a medical device.

BUILD WITH CAP

FAQ

Questions? Answered.

  • Do you provide developer resources? Yes. We provide ReferenceAccessory resources, USDZ models, and the source code for the seeMote Viewer app for Apple Vision Pro.
  • What is the difference between seeMote Cube and seeMote Cap? seeMote Cap attaches to a physical tool or object, allowing its movement to be tracked. seeMote Cube is designed to be held in the user’s hand as a physical spatial input device for visionOS apps.
  • How does seeMote Cap attach to a tool or object? The bottom of seeMote Cap features a standard 1/4″-20 threaded mounting hole. It can be securely attached using a compatible screw, stud, or mounting adapter.
  • What does 270° tracking coverage mean in practice? The bottom of seeMote Cap is designed for mounting and is therefore outside the tracking area. For reliable tracking, position the Cap so that Apple Vision Pro can see at least one of its tracking surfaces, rather than only the bottom mounting face.
About Seemote Cap Developed by DFRobot, seeMote Cap is a compact, mountable 6DoF spatial tracking module designed for Apple Vision Pro and visionOS 27. When attached to a physical tool or handheld object, it lets compatible visionOS apps access the object’s position and orientation using ARKit accessory tracking. Built for developers and spatial computing teams, seeMote Cap brings familiar tools and physical movement into training simulations, guided workflows, spatial creation, and other custom visionOS experiences.
