DFRobot romeo V2 mini usb connection

I've just bought a romeo V2 and I'm disappointed by the poor quality of micro usb connector.
It disassembles from the board after two connections with our micro usb cable and we are now facing no possibility to download our code from the PC.
I would like to highlight the point that CMS micro usb plug seems to be an unreliable solution for this type of use.
I would rather prefer the ''old'' A-B usb connector of previous card version.
Another solution would be to provide an USB =>micro usb adaptor cable that could be held on the robot structure by mechanical means or glue.
Do you know if it's possible to download programs to the romeo using the provided Xbee socket? Do we need another shield to communicate with the PC?
Or is it possible to use blue-tooth, what kind of additional shield/hardware is needed to communicate with th pC?
I wish everybody a happy new year

We will provide a way to help you.
The solder is not so bad as you think.
(What should be attention is that the solder can't be inside.)

2014-01-08 12:12:49 Actually, I have the same problem.  USB connector came straight off the board.
I can solder, but these are surface mount traces, I don't think I could do that easily (unless you have other points on the board they're available.

Please help with either:
1 - the original poster's first question - is there a way to program the board using the other serial port on D0/1 or by APC220 module?
2 - if there's a way to reconnect the USB connection that's easier than dealing with surface mount components, please let me know.
3 - We've had the board about 2 weeks, you mentioned that you'd try to help fix it - let me know what my options are for that.

Thanks!!
