Gravity Turbidity Sensor

Jackson Turbidity Units were obsolete over 50 years ago. A sensor that is designed to measure water parameters needs to be waterproof, at least the sensor and cable (which needs to be longer). :o

Sensors I would like to see:
A continuous wave Doppler velocity sensor for measuring water speed.
A shallow depth (.25-10ft) ultrasonic depth sounder.
