micro push button & breadboard fit

The micro push buttons that came with the "Beginners Kit" do not fit into the breadboard when you are suppose to span the breadboad gap, isolating one side of the switch from the other.
Or, is one side of the switch suppose to position into the gap not contacting the board?

Sorry I am not a native English speaker, to my understanding, do you mean the micro push button/ potentiometer's pin is not fit to the breadboard?
If so, could you show me a picture(gif or a short video can be better) as illustration? Cause I have tried to put them together without problem showing in the link above.

2016-03-05 06:21:25 OK... I did locate the web page of a similar problem. I find that the space btwn the wire leads ,from the button do not span the bread board holes and when you force the button into the board it's a bad, loose fit.

I met with this feedback before, but I tested without error. May I know have you see the FAQ on wiki?
