Please Help with a CodeBreaker padlock/servo

I wanted to make a program which has a single 8-segment LED display that displays numbers. And when you enter the numbers in the keypad the servo unlocks a lock. But the hard part is that I wanted it so you have to enter the password at relatively the same time as it displays. I'm VERY new to this and I have the parts(I think) but I don't know where to start.

2016-03-05 00:06:43 Ive realized that I don't need to have the segment and the password have to happen at the same time. It can be separate. Thanks anyways aaron.gilchrist
