CO2-Sensor Interfaceboard broken

Hello Guys,
I´m using the CO2 Sensor 0-50000ppm SKU: SEN0220 and broke the connection between the CO2-Sensor and the interfaceboard while connecting. (I can´t use the interfaceboard anymore).
Is it possible to access the CO2 Value by just connecting the CO2-Sensor with a Micro-USB TTL UART Serial Converter (https://www.ebay.de/p/?iid=272371011293&&&chn=ps) and not using the contained interfaceboard? (Just use the GND V+ RX + TX cable coming from the C02-Sensor).
I hope my answer is clear.
best regards

Add some resistors as it shows and see if it's possible
