Switching UEFI 32 bit to 64 bit

Hi Lattepanda team,
I would like to know whether LattePanda is able to switch from 32bit UEFI to 64bit? After a long research I found out that the Intel board called Minnowboard is able to do that. They have a full explaination in this wiki "http://wiki.minnowboard.org/UEFI". In their wiki it seems easy enough to switch from 32bit to 64bit. I need the 64bit to support linux future roadmap out-of-the-box where they have obselete most of the 32bit linux OS. Now just to install linux OS we need to do a lot of workaround work.
Beside that, LP team will you make a guide for Bios Recovery? In case, we brick our LP board while flashing the bios with a corrupted bios file.
Regards,
maideii
