DFROBOT NPK Soil Sensor for Aquaponics?

Is it possible to use this DFROBOT soil sensor for Aquaponics to detect NPK for plants? Even though it is not soil? This is for my project requiring to detect nutrients for plants in aquaponics.

The probe on this sensor is specifically designed for soil and will not give accurate readings if it is an Aquaponics environment with high water content.
