I purchased a LattePanda 3 Delta without a license key - can I buy one?

Is there a place in the DFRobot store that I can buy a key? If not, is there a special type of key to activate the Windows installation already present on the LattePanda? Or do I need to purchase a Windows license direct from Microsoft? They seem to only be selling Windows 11 licenses. Will those work with the 3 Delta?

Hi Jon; yes, it sounds like you need to buy some license, from somewhere yes. Delta 3 has ‘skus’ with licenses or none. the image is the same win10 but the SKU with the IOT license has a COA ‘sticker’ with a scratch off to reveal a key so you can activate the image. I'm running both the IOT Win10 version and various versions of Win11. I use both 10 and 11 for different reasons but work well. Most of the drivers are ‘in windows’ for the Delta3. and for the ones that are not found you can find y from the LP site or the ‘Microsoft catalog site’. either way that's if you do a clean install Win10/11 home or pro is pretty straight forward. best idea would be to put a NVME drive in and install windows on it then you have the MMC (the built in hard drive) drive as like a SAFE back up so at least you can boot up. the MMC is slower than a modern NVME drive and from a practical standpoint can't be replaced when in wears out. , i run my jukebox on both win10 and win11 installed to the MMC just fine. and use the NVME drive as data. but YMMV it all depends on how you intend to use it :) it should work ok however you decide to go.
