Hi, the first "blink" sketch has been integrated in the Arduino IDE. File>Expample>basic>Blink. Or you can visit our wiki directly: http://www.dfrobot.com/wiki...
JaneYu Is this kit to be used with an Arduino purchased seperetely or does it have the Arduino included with it?
JaneYu No, the Arduino control board has been included in the Kit
HI Matteo, thank you for your feedback. I've checked the Project 3 file in download code and wiki page, There is no missing semicolon, could you show me where did you find this problem? We'll correct it ASAP.
JaneYu I used it for only a couple hours so far, but i already noticed that one of the pins of the board was bent, so i had to straighten it, in order to make the prototyping shield fit.
I really hope this was just my bad luck, and not a sign of bad quality/manufacturing of the product, due to the competitive price.
JaneYu hi if got porblem with project 15 when im veryfying it says int RECV_PIN = TKD2; // the pin the IR receiver is connected to
^
exit status 1
JaneYu HI mike, Thank you for your feedback. The sample code is right, but the comment isn't. It should be:
digitalWrite(pedRed, LOW); //pedestrian red light off
We'll update its tutorial later
JaneYu I am unable to open the Tutorial Codes because I get a message that I don't have the right application to open it... What application do I need?
JaneYu To open the code files you need to use a file extraction software such winzip or 7zip. If on windows right click on file and should see extract option. Once extracted you need to have the Arduino program installed https://www.arduino.cc/en/M...
And we're do I find tutorial page 57 I been looking all over website I can't find it
JaneYu This report would have more information with
"Show verbose output during compilation"
enabled in File > Preferences.
Arduino: 1.0.6 (Windows NT (unknown)), Board: "Arduino Uno"
C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\RobotIRremote\IRremoteTools.cpp:5: error: 'TKD2' was not declared in this scope
JaneYu Seem like you didn't have the correctl IR library .Delete all libraries with words “IR” and only install the one in the code.rar
try the 1.0.6 version ArduinoIDE and install the library in code.rar http://www.dfrobot.com/imag...
JaneYu i just tried that i still get "error compiling"
or do i have to delete the Audrino program i have and downgrade it somehow?
how do i get 1.0.6 i cant figuer out how to downgrade my audrino software i have 1.6.7
Hi I just got the Beginner adruino kit but the the sample codes for IR matrix and Ir led don't work I don't understand how I can make the projects work please help
JaneYu Project 5- Not sure why the constain() function is used. random(0,255) already limits the red, green , and blue variables to be within 0 to 255. Is this redundant or am I missing something? Want to know so I use this function properly in the future.
JaneYu Hi, I just purchased the Arduino Beginner kit. I downloaded the Arduino software and verified the command but when uploading it came up with not in sync and the programmer not responding. Please help! Thanks
JaneYu Hi Ben, Don't worry. You could check the device manager first. If there is a right COM port. that is OK. And make sure that there is nothing occupy the D0 and D1 (TX & RX). What is about Blink? is that OK? You could come to the forum for some help. http://www.dfrobot.com/forum
Please make sure you have selected the right com port.
Hi. I'd like to ask why can we connect directly relay to output pin 3 on project #13? Everybody on the internet says that we have to use a diode and a transistor instead. Tks.
JaneYu is this a work same as arduino?

3 months i need to start the new project for my advance project. So please help me on this. i need a kit for practice and make my project
