Hi, the first "blink" sketch has been integrated in the Arduino IDE. File>Expample>basic>Blink. Or you can visit our wiki directly: http://www.dfrobot.com/wiki...

Is this kit to be used with an Arduino purchased seperetely or does it have the Arduino included with it?

HI Matteo, thank you for your feedback. I've checked the Project 3 file in download code and wiki page, There is no missing semicolon, could you show me where did you find this problem? We'll correct it ASAP.

I used it for only a couple hours so far, but i already noticed that one of the pins of the board was bent, so i had to straighten it, in order to make the prototyping shield fit.
I really hope this was just my bad luck, and not a sign of bad quality/manufacturing of the product, due to the competitive price.

HI mike, Thank you for your feedback. The sample code is right, but the comment isn't. It should be:

digitalWrite(pedRed, LOW); //pedestrian red light off

We'll update its tutorial later

I am unable to open the Tutorial Codes because I get a message that I don't have the right application to open it... What application do I need?

To open the code files you need to use a file extraction software such winzip or 7zip. If on windows right click on file and should see extract option. Once extracted you need to have the Arduino program installed https://www.arduino.cc/en/M...

This report would have more information with

"Show verbose output during compilation"

enabled in File > Preferences.

Arduino: 1.0.6 (Windows NT (unknown)), Board: "Arduino Uno"

C:\Program Files (x86)\Arduino\libraries\RobotIRremote\IRremoteTools.cpp:5: error: 'TKD2' was not declared in this scope

Project 5- Not sure why the constain() function is used. random(0,255) already limits the red, green , and blue variables to be within 0 to 255. Is this redundant or am I missing something? Want to know so I use this function properly in the future.

Hi Ben, Don't worry. You could check the device manager first. If there is a right COM port. that is OK. And make sure that there is nothing occupy the D0 and D1 (TX & RX). What is about Blink? is that OK? You could come to the forum for some help. http://www.dfrobot.com/forum

Hi. I'd like to ask why can we connect directly relay to output pin 3 on project #13? Everybody on the internet says that we have to use a diode and a transistor instead. Tks.
