Hi, The value returned by the sensor is an analog quantity, which is different for different colors and can be used for simple color discrimination. If you need a high-precision color recognition sensor, we recommend this color sensor:

Could you tell me the model number of ambient light sensor attached on this module? According to your schematics, it is referred as a photoresister MG45-12, but I couldn't find any information of the photoresister having MG45-12 as model number.
