I buy a Barcode Reader/Scanner Module - CCD Camera, and I made a prototype with Arduino by your example and code on wiki, but it is still not any signals output,I don't know what's happened.
Please help me to solve this problem, what can I do now?
My project deadline is comimg up,reply me soon, please.
thank you.
Hi. Ive followed the directions and images exactly how the wiki has says and shows however whenever I upload the Arduino code it show an error;
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 1 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
avrdude: stk500_recv(): programmer is not responding
avrdude: stk500_getsync() attempt 2 of 10: not in sync: resp=0x00
...
Ive noticed that this problem only occurs when I plug in the TX from the converter to the RX on the Arduino Uno
Any help would be appreciated
JaneYu You could download the code in the mainboard and then put the sensor on, in the end, press the red button of resset in the uno.
I need to set up parity, stop bit, data rate, data bits values, but the manual hasn't theses parameters and the guides provided in this page doesn't work. Do you have another manual to set up barcodes?, I guess you packaged a wrong model. I need to set up this parameter to my application. This issue is causing problems to us. Please verified that model and send us how can I change this values.
JaneYu Hi , i am using Barcode Reader, with power jack to usb (connect to laptop for power) and RS232 to USB converter to laptop. My oberservations are the red light of the barcode scanner appears once or twice when press button only. Actually, what is the use of the RS232-TTL converter ?
JaneYu The purpose of the RS232-TTL converter is to convert UART signal output by the sensor into USB signal that can be recognized by the computer.
Hi,
Can you describe the CN1 connector ? Is it an equivalent to the CN2 ? In which order are the pins ?
I want to use it by soldering cabled directly on the board.
Thanks
JaneYu You can use a potentiometer to test if the corresponding pins are connected.
Hello I recently bought this barcode and I have some problem for the wiring.
For power supply and the control with arduino , Do I just need buy a converter RS232-TLL ?
Thanks
JaneYu Shortly after receiving that email, they backed out saying "we're not actually sure if you can trigger it programmatically". But you can use auto-scan mode if that works for your application. Just wanted to clear up my misleading comment.
JaneYu HI, thanks for your reminding. Actually, what we sell now is just the new version. It will be a little different. We'll update its wiki recently.
JaneYu I don't understand your comment. The version of barcode scanner does not affect the wiring. The grounds between the RS232 connector and the TTL converter in the wiki need to be tied together. This is not shown in the image, and should be updated.
Hi, this is RS232 device, have you connect RS232 converter? like this one: https://www.dfrobot.com/ind...
JaneYu Hi, welcome to the new store. sorry for the late reply. Yes, this is RS232 device.
