I can't find the decoder ring, that defines the pins for J1, pins 1,2 and 3. Below you indicate the middle pin is Vcc. The schematic indicates the middle in J1 pin 2 as ground. The cable is very nice. It has black, red as middle and blue. Could you define the colors for (gnd, output and Vcc), please.

How many hertz (hz) can this sound sensor detect?

The SEN0465(0-25%) is factory calibrated, so you could use it directly once you receive the sensor.
But for SEN0496(0-100%) you have to calibrate it in the normal air, and in the pure O2 environment if you want to measure the high oxygen content environment.
Under normal circumstances, the oxygen content in the air is about 20%. Excessively high oxygen levels are rare, and only around certain specialized equipment (such as oxygen concentrators) can the percentage of oxygen in the surrounding air be too high.
So if there is no oxygen generator or other instruments around the environment you need to measure, it is recommended that you choose (0-25%) SEN0465.

Hi, I'm using this microphone for a project and I'm having problems when I read a sine wave of 1kHz. When I fix a volume the microphone doesn't gives me a constant or semi-constant value. I have already calibrated the mic by using your SKU SEN0232 and it still repeats the same error. Do you have any idea why this is happening?
Thank you

Hi,
This module cannot measure the exact sound level. It can only tell the trend of loudness and it's very easy to be interfered. You can test that making loud noise and check if the value will get higher.

It is just a simple demo of the sound sensor, you can use our OLED tutorial to realize it. https://www.dfrobot.com/pro...

this sensor gives decibel values or not...
can i connect to raspberry Pi3 modal....
please replay me.

Hi,
This sensor can only output analog value according to the sound level, it is not in decibel. If you want to use Rpi, you should add an ADC

I just want to ensure that whether this sensor is using a condenser microphone or just a normal electret microphone. And one more thing, the analog signal, is it indicate an analog values of the sound or it just simply display the threshold like others 4 pins sensor.

Sorry, the answer is listed in pinout. Blue is output, red is Vcc and black is ground.

I'm afraid, it doesn't support. it requires a more complicated circuit for the sound recorder.

Thank You. So, I need a microphone for my sound recorder. If this one is no good for my cause, which one would You recommend me to buy from Your store? I need some module that can send a signal that I can filter somehow and process further. I have micro controller and speakers. I'm looking for a microphone now.

Hi, this is an analog sensor, have you checked the connection? The middle one is VCC-5V.
