How exactly is this screen (and touch function) connected? Does it really not take up any GPIO pins?

Hello, I have been following the tutorial to set up the driver but, when I reboot the raspberry pi controller (using the reboot command) the LCD goes to white and doesn't do anything else (nor the hdmi monitor) How can I make the changes permanent? And one more, I see the touchscreen is not working, do I have to install anything else to make it work?

The driver is not compatible with the latest raspbian, please use the previous version system, like the system released last year

Dear DFRobot, I'm trying to learn as much as I can about driving a 7" LVDS TFT LCD (in general) from embedded DisplayPort. Could you point me to some resources that I could study? Thank you!

Can this display work at 3.3V with something other than Raspberry Pi if otherwise connected properly to SPI?
What display controller is used?
