is this sensor compatibal with raspberry pi ???

why is this overheating ?my devices are dfr arduino uno ,motor driver shield , 2 pices TT Motor with Encoder (6V 160RPM 120:1)
1 distance sensor, battery is Li-Po 2500mAh 7.4v 1c continuos discharge

Digital sensor, compatible with 3.3V, should be OK
