Hi, I have the following parts.

(x2) DIY B/O Spider Robot (ROB0103)
(x1) ROMEO-All in one Controller (DFR0004)
(x1) Gravity: IR Kit for Arduino (DFR0107)

My students and I built an IR Remote Controlled Spider Robot. However, it seems like the geared motors which came with the robot do not have enough torque to move the robot we have built along the ground.

The final robot has a x4 AA battery pack to power the motors and a 9V battery to power the Controller.

What motors would you suggest we use to get our remote controlled spider robot moving along the ground?

Hi, we haven't provide some code, maybe you need to learn how to drive the modules alone then work them together.

Aha, this is a very interesting project. As I know, you will need two DIY B/O spider robot first. Watch the video, the author combine two spider together and control it with a Romeo board. The robot works just like an ordinary 2WD robot. you can control it with romeo sample code.
