Hi Konm08,
Here are the answers to your questions.

Ans Q1: DHL – (3-5)
working days, FEDEX (5-6) working days

Ans Q2: Depends on the weights of the product package you will be purchasing. After
you add the product in the cart, it will show you the shipping cost.

Ans Q3: Yes, it supports x86 versions of Android. Check the documentation for
details.

Ans Q4: It can run Fortnite pretty decently. Check out the
video for reference

I would like to run this powered by the JST pins to a mains outlet. I get that I need a 12v 3a psu but I don't quite get how to wire it. There is a note on the lattepanda documentation "powering" section which highlights that one should be careful of the +/- pin layout. So if I have a 12v 3a psu, I will only have 1 +ve and 1ve wire, am I missing something or do all 4 need to be in connection to the psu by splitting the +ve/-ve ?

Hi Tanil,

Just make sure there is a PH 2.0 4 pin connector for your PSU that looks like the picture below. (You might need to find a 2 pins > 4 pins converter for it)
https://uploads.disquscdn.c...

And you are set to connect the PSU to your Lattepanda. The confusion here is that there are 2 GND and 2 VCC pins (4 in total) for the PSU connector. It is due to the high power required by the lattepanda for powering up. So it uses 2 VCC and 2 GND pins.

Hope that helps.

Just so people are aware in the UK, I ordered this and the titan case, and DHL are charging me £97 duties and VAT, so you will need to add that into your calculations when ordering.

hey.
yeha, the latte panda isnt a bad board, but has some major designflaws.
1: the fan/cooler you see, its all plastic, so here its allmost zero help in cooling it, and to make it worse, it blows the hot air onto the USB ports, I burned my fingers on them.
2: cant set the fan to start in lower temp (say 40celcius - 45celcius), the lowest threshhold it can be activated in is 60celsius.
3: driver support is slim to none, there is a github that is way to complicated, dfrobot could have easly made a support page with driver download on theiyr website than use github, for a week I had no sound through HDMI in windows 10pro 64bit, but in linux, full sound through HDMI (got sound to work in the end, but was a pain in the ass to get to work)

other than those design flaws and cons of the board, I like it alot, kinda wish there was more space for more m-keys for expansion/hdds

when it comes to the titan case, heck no, never buy this, this is a major derp on theyr side.
yeah it looks cool, but looks dont mean nothing when it makes the board even hotter.
It reduses airflow out of the casse even more, making the board super hot (been up to 90celcius)
I burned my fingers on the brass screws under the case.

Id sugest the: Aluminum Alloy Passive Cooling Case for LattePanda Alpha from "Geekworm", on theyr website, you can get the cooling fan to (sold seperatly) (dfrobot does not have the coolingfan on theyr website).
I have yet to test this, cause the copper plate that was with it, was to thin, it has no contact with the cpu/gpu and the case itself (Im waiting for a thicker copper plate from ebay), but I have no doubt that it will do the same job as the armorcase for the rasberry pies.

buy the board, dont buy the titan case, go for the aluminum case.

I hope this answerd your questions.
cheers!

Got my panda 864 a few weeks back. Yesterday I've got microsoft blue screen of death and now it does not start. Any ideas? Tried these steps, quick press on start button, wait until stop blinking, then pressing for 3 seconds. Fan starts to spin and then stops, nothing more.

for a so expencive SBC this expencive I feel its a piss poor job with this board and driver support.

board gets super hot, no possibility to set fan to kick in at 30c or up, only at 60c and up

no driver support for this, no sound through hdmi in windows 10 pro,
on ubuntu HDMI Audio works fine, no problem there, but in windows 10, no hdmi audio works, only via audiojack

DONT buy the titan case, it makes the latte panda alpha even hotter, and not in a good way

if they added support for drivers for the bord on windows 10, this board would be everything I wanted

This is a GREAT review. I've been wanting one of these because I'm super impressed at the idea of running windows on such a tiny thing. Your review reminded me of how Windows performs on actual desktops.

I wanted to place a Latte Panda order, but it seems like my account does not exist, even though I was an existing customer. Go figure!

I don't understand why the forgot password option also does not work. Well, unless my account was really deleted.
