waste of money. I got the Boron hoping to use the M1 CAT uplink for other devices. Their wifi is proprietary. Their use of bluetooth is proprietary. And they give you no access to the net. It's little more than a fancy cellular led blinker. You're stuck doing what they approve you to do. It might be useful for someone that is completely technie-ignorant, but for anyone looking to do IoT development work, they cut you off at the knees before you even start with limitations on the hardware and minimal internals documentation or alternate methods of programming available. Hardly a 'development' platform when you have to do it their-way-or-the-highway.
