I tried a new sensor with arduino and esp32. The device is descovered in address 0x40 but it alwayw returns temp:-40 and RH:100%.
Is it a faulty sensor or is there something else i should take care of?

How does this compare to the SHT30, SHT31, and SHT35 sensors that use similar technology? They claim they can be used for soil monitoring and air monitoring. Is this one different?

What is the outer diameter of the sensor portion? I need it to fit in a 1/2" dia hole.

You could use the I2C multiplexer to connect up to eight I2C sensor with same address on one I2C master.

We do not recommend that you use it in soil, the air in the soil may cause inaccurate readings.
