Wanting to build a 2U hard drive rack powered by a small computer. Was thinking M2 Mac Mini until I saw this. Would i be able to connect 8 sata hard drives to this and do you guys think this would make a great Plex/ Home Assistant server?

Is there a recommended USBC battery pack that could power this as a portable setup?

Sorry, we don't have a recommended USBC battery pack. Because the Sigma draws a lot of power, we recommend a USBC 90W or higher input.

I would just like to express my interest, along with others who have made similar comments, in a larger RAM pool. Best would be 2 x SODIMM so we could install our own memory, but 32GB and 64GB versions would be excellent. I run a miniforums EliteMini HX90, which provides several cores, and selectable memory / SSD all running ProxMox.

The LattePanda Sigma, would be an excellent ProxMox server for work and for fun if we can boost the RAM up a bit to 32GB / 64GB.

The 32GB memory version is coming soon. In your project, what is the capacity of the SSD and what is the speed requirement for the SSD?

Sigma is a so exciting SBC product. By the way, is there anyone who can share the weight info of sigma?

I'd love to see a 32GB ram version of this!

Yes, and that's great for storage - but 16GB RAM isn't enough for my purposes so the option to increase it would be good.
