I 'm thinking base my design on this shield but I have a questio this shield use SPI communication. In my case I have to access to webserver using ethernet. From the web server interface I will send SPI message to external device. Is it possible? Does the shield support bit banging?
JaneYu Can redundant power supply be setup with POE and 12v going to Leonardo without any problems?
JaneYu We do not recommend that you supply power from the POE as well as the VIN at the same time, as this may cause the on-board W5500 chip to work incorrectly when the POE is disconnected.
This module uses SPI communication, we checked UNOR4 about SPI and found that UNO R4 SPI is slow, we think this might be the reason why you can't use Ethernet shield.
Would you be able to do a project using UNO R3 to verify this thought.

JaneYu You don't need to supply additional power to your Arduino if you use POE, which has a step-down circuit to supply power to the Arduino.
The POE is a Class 0 PD device compatible with the 802.3at standard.
Given the various protocols of POE devices. So you need to confirm the protocol of POE power supply before you buy it.
