DFROBOT 1602 LCD Keypad Shield For Arduino DFR0009

Hello Fellows,

I come here seeking for advice from everyone of you, I had a bad experience trying to get to work an LCDKeypad OSEPP Version 1.0, I tried so hard many things without success.

Today I bought a DFROBOT 1602 LCD Keypad Shield For Arduino DFR0009 , reading in the shield forum says it is suggested to use Arduino 1.5.3

1st question: I have installed AVR boards library 1.8.6 with Arduino IDE 2.3.6, how can I go back and use Arduino 1.5.3?

2nd question: Is there any emulation code to use Arduino 2.3.6 emulating Arduino 1.5.3?

3rd, any suggestion or guidance will be very welcome
