Increasing range of HUSKYLENS

Hello,

Is there a way to increase the range of the HUSKYLENS object recognition? I am trying to detect objects that are far away from the sensor.

@geometry dash lite Hey there! That's a great question, and it's a common challenge with vision sensors like the HUSKYLENS. Unfortunately, simply "increasing the range" isn't usually an option in the way you might think for object recognition. The HUSKYLENS, like most cameras, is limited by its optical properties and the resolution of its sensor. Detecting objects further away typically means they appear smaller and with less detail in the camera's field of view, making them harder for the recognition algorithms to identify accurately. You might be able to improve performance slightly by ensuring optimal lighting, or by looking into external lenses that can magnify the view, but there's a physical limit to how far it can effectively "see" and recognize small or distant objects.

Replace the stock lens on the HUSKYLENS with a narrower field-of-view (FOV) lens (zoom or telephoto lens).

Many HUSKYLENS models support M12 lens mounts, allowing you to swap lenses easily.

A longer focal length lens (e.g. 12mm or more) will help magnify distant objects and make them more recognizable.
