DFROBOT Gravity Tipping Bucket project

This is my first post here.

I have a Gravity Tipping Bucket rain sensor from DFROBOT.

It sends a pulse to an ESP8266 (battery powered) which then sends the time of the event over the WIFI connection.

Can anyone confirm that each tipping represents 0.3mm of rainfall?
