Possibility of full feature USB-C Port(s) for Mu carrier board?

Hi all,

I am still learning the fundamentals of PCB design and electronics, so pardon my inexperience. I also hope I am not asking something that's been brought up before. I intend to build a carrier board that standardises all the ports to usb-C so that I won't have to mess around with too many cable types. Specifically, I wish to run an external display from the board using single cable usb-C operation.

From documentation we know the Mu can support 4x USB3.2 (10Gbps) port and 3x HDMI 2.0/DP 1.4 displays. I also see that the usb-C port on the Lite carrier board only supports PD input, while the capabilities of the usb-C port on the full carrier board are unclear.

I am inquiring if it is possible to create a custom carrier board with full featured usb-C port(s), and what would the pins of the Mu that they will connect to? If full feature usb-C port(s) are not possible, what is the reason?

Looking forward to kind advice from you experts.
