sen0562 schematic, esp w.r.t. powering at 3.3v

Hi,

I see in other forum posts that the waterproof ambient light sensor SEN0652 appears to work at 3.3v, even though its description page says 5V supply.

From the linked data sheet for the sensor itself, I see the sensor chip is 3V.

Is there any schematic for this unit, showing whatever voltage regulator and level shifting it uses, so I can understand better for myself whether I should expect it to “just barely work”, vs be well in-spec, if powered at 3.3V?

Thanks,

Michael

Hi, Would possibly a more general question help?

Am I failing to find the schematic for this unit?  Are they generally openly available for DFRobot products (I'm a relatively new user, perhaps I'm missing something somewhere in the website)?

If schematics are not available for DFRobot products in general, is there someone with access to them (an Admin) who could give a brief description of any additional circuitry (e.g., as 5V is above the sensor data sheets max rating, I presume there is a voltage regulator, and probably level shifters – even a statement of what components these are could allow me to look up specs to understand the sensor's behaviour better when powered at lower voltage).

Thanks,

Michael
