LattePanda IOTA Questions

Does the M.2 M Key expansion board for the LattePanda IOTA fit inside the Aluminum Heatsink Case?

Does the CPU TDP have to be configured down for the Aluminum Hetasink Case or can it support the full 15W?

Regarding the power consumption of the IOTA I see it listed as:  Minimum power: 15V @ 1.8A

So the board by itself without any expansion slots can get by with a 27W PD power supply at full speed?  Then I guess if you add an M.2 SSD you would probably need 45W PD?

Hello,

- The M.2 M-Key expansion board does not fit inside the Aluminum Heatsink Case due to space constraints.
- The LattePanda IOTA defaults to a 10W TDP. The aluminum case works fine at this setting without needing to lower TDP.
If you increase TDP to 15W, the case will get very hot—performance will depend on ambient temperature and airflow. For sustained high performance, external ventilation is recommended.
- The minimum power requirement (15V/1.8A = 27W) applies to the bare board. Adding an M.2 NVMe SSD increases total power draw—SSD power varies by model, so 45W PD is recommended when using expansion modules for reliable operation.
