Millimeter Wave Sensor UART Voltage

I asked DFRobot by email the exact same question and their answer was:
‘’We have confirmed with our product manager that the UART pins of this millimeter-wave liquid level sensor operate at 3.3V, so no level shifter is required.''

The output voltage may vary between different hardware. This 5V device outputs 3.3V, while others may output 5V. This could cause the circuit board to burn out. Therefore, be careful before using it.
