Latte Panda IOTA Cooling

From what I can tell, if I have something slotted in the M.2 slot, I can not use the case for cooling nor can I use the heatsink/fan for cooling as the m.2 item sits over the the CPU (?) where the heat sink wants to sit.  Exactly how do I supply “Cooling”, passive or active, to this device?
