SEN0657 wind speed values

I am using the SEN0657 Ultrasonic 7-in-1 RS485 weather station.

The documentation states that the value in register 01F4 should be divided by 100 to get the speed in m/s - I have now been using this unit outside for a couple of weeks and the windspeed readings always appear to be around 10 times lower than weather forecast values.

Is there an error in the documentation - should the value be divided by 10?

After confirmation by our product team: the earlier shipped versions of SEN0657 require the value in register 01F4 to be divided by 100 to get wind speed in m/s, while the latest shipped version needs to be divided by 10. We have updated the Wiki documentation accordingly.

Hi Richard,

No responses from DFRobot but I am pretty convinced that their documentation is wrong. The wind speed value from the register should be divided by 10.

Did you get any feedback on this?  I am observing the exact same thing!
