DFR1120-868 - LoRaWAN Control Terminal - How to Send command to RS485/ModBus

Can somone tell me how to Send ModBUS command to a connected RS485 device.
I succeded to read some values, but we failed to send RS485 commands.
It seems that we CANNOT change the parity settings in the send, which we must have set to ‘EVEN’ (HW defined)
Is there someone who succeeded to send a RTU command to a connected RS485/ModBus device ?
Is there a FW version, where the DFR1120-868 - LoRaWAN Control Terminal just forwards the payload to the RS485 ?
