What type of batteries does the KIT0210 power bank need? and how to connect output to usb

So your wiki does not actually say the type of batteries the KIT0210 power bank requires, but I found a retailer that sells it state it needs “three 18650 lithium batteries”. Are those button top or flat top batteries? and what voltage and milliamp hours for the batteries?

ok so the output from the power bank is 4 wires, what is the best connectors to put on the end of that for usb?

It would definitely help if the wiki clarified this, because battery compatibility matters a lot for both safety and performance. Most power banks that use 18650 cells are designed for flat-top, unprotected 3.7V lithium-ion cells, typically in the 2000–3500 mAh range, but it really depends on the internal holder and protection circuitry of the KIT0210. Using the wrong type (like button-top or protected cells) might cause fitment issues or improper contact.

As for the output, if you’re dealing with 4 wires, it likely includes power and data lines. The best approach would be to use a standard USB connector (USB-A or USB-C depending on your needs). For simple power output, you generally only need VCC (5V) and GND, but if you want proper USB functionality or device compatibility, handling the data lines (D+ and D−) correctly can be important.

Regarding the 4-wire output:
Typically, you’ll have V+ and GND duplicated (two wires each) to handle higher current. Before connecting anything, it’s a good idea to confirm polarity with a multimeter.

It requires three flat-top 18650 lithium batteries (3.7V), and there is no strict limit on the mAh rating.
