I saw the SEN0626 Module detects 5 hand gestures. can it be programmed to detect other gestures such as hand waving? This is the right price level for what I am doing. If not, is there another sensor that would detect hand waving at 1-2m?
This sensor's range is suitable for you. However, it seems that it cannot recognize other gestures through programming. I suspect that its five pre-programmed gestures are written into the firmware. Because when I was looking at the wiki, I didn't see the code for adding other gestures. The only cases I found were those where related code was executed after facial recognition or gesture recognition was triggered. Of course, there is no absolute impossibility in programming. You can look for other materials or try out new solutions together with AI.
