seeMote Cube not connecting to VP via Bluetooth

Hi All!

I have a VisionPro running visionOS 27.2 - Mac on 27.0.1 - Xcode 27.2 - and can not connect the seeMote Cube to the VP.

The cube advertises and appears under Other Devices on a VP, pairing fails with Pairing Unsuccessful, and I have already flashed the latest firmware package and power cycled everything.

I think it the Cube is tied to my Mac laptop some how(even though I've forgotten it - even tried pairing with all other bluetooth devices off) How do I clear stored bonds on the cube?

Anything else I should try?

Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the reply!

1) I did “forget” the Cube and removed it from the Mac (restarted) - this image attached now shows what the Mac sees.

2) on the Vision Pro I can not delete the Cube because it was never connected - image shows what it sees

3) I've updated the boot loader and restarted the Cube and tried it all again - same results UGGG

What do you mean about the forget+repair? What is repair?

Thanks for the help - at this point I'm frustrated and think it's the Cube and need a replacement. I should have not first connected it to my Mac before the AVP. My bad….

Hello, here are my suggestions. You can give them a try. If they can solve your problem, that would be great.
Reflashing is effectively the cube's bond reset, and the official firmware page says to forget the device in the VP's Bluetooth settings after flashing, then pair again - so you're on the right track. That "Pairing Unsuccessful" usually comes from a stale bond key left on one side.

Try it in this order: 1) On your Mac, don't just "Forget" - remove it in System Settings > Bluetooth entirely (that deletes the Mac-side stored key). 2) On the Vision Pro, delete the cube under Other Devices too. 3) Power-cycle the cube (pull power, let it restart advertising) and pair with nothing else Bluetooth-enabled nearby.

If it still fails after that, the leftover bond-key is on the VP side - so power-cycle both and forget+repair on each device once more.
