2Amp Motor Controller (L298P) LEDs?

There are four LEDs adjacent to the motor screw terminals but no documentation that describes what they mean. When my motors are engaged the second and fourth (or first and third depending which direction you're looking) are illuminated red. The other two don't seem to light at all.

2014-01-14 05:32:38 Ah! I don't think I checked them out when I was running the motors in the opposite direction. That would have been obvious then I think.

These 4 LEDs are indicator led of the motor forward or backward.
