Romeo V2 Keeps Reset

Im a total newbie on electronics
Currently using Pirate + Romeo
Powering both the motors and Romeo using 5 AA batteries.
When only on batteries If i make the motors go forward and then suddenly go backward the romeo stopped responding while blinking the white led next to the ON led.
Is this a power problem?

Have you try to smoothen the changes a little? maybe you can create a function that instead of sudden changes, make a little smooth change say in 1 second or a few seconds?

A sudden change of direction on the motors would result in enough of a drain on the batteries to cause a voltage drop that would reset the Arduino.
It is better to use a powerful Lipo battery to drive them together.
Or you could use the independent power supply for Romeo and motor.
