Reflash Arduino RoMeo 1.1 Bootloader?

Hi,

I just took out my DFRobot + RoMeo 1.1 kit, and restarted it for the first time in a while.

I now have a problem communicating via USB to the device, and I believe it's because the bootloader has gone bye-bye (if I hit the reset button, then the L LED does not flash at all). Also, using the serial monitor, I can hit send and see the RX LED light up, but the TX LED never lights.

So:

1) Does it sound like the bootloader?
2) How do I reflash the bootloader on RoMeo 1.1?

Pointers / suggestions appreciated!

I am afraid the chip is broken.

I tried connecting another Arduino on the same setup, and it works fine.

Do you mean a screenshot of the Device Manager?  I think the USB driver is fine, because the other Arduino board works fine.

I tried cycling through (with Device Manager) all the possible baud rates available, but none made any difference.

Could you check the device manager?
Is there anything in the device manager? Like the ATmega32U4?
Could you attach a screenshot?
Anyway, what is your operating system?
