Introduction

This ultrasonic liquid level monitoring sensor is designed for non-contact liquid level detection where traditional ultrasonic sensors may be limited by large blind zones, wide measurement angles, slow response, or difficult installation. With a blind zone of ≤1.5cm and an adjustable measuring range from 30~300cm, this liquid level sensor supports compact containers as well as larger tanks while providing configurable measurement behavior for different installation conditions.

1.5cm Blind Zone with Adjustable 30~300cm Measuring Range

This ultrasonic liquid level sensor reduces the blind zone to ≤1.5cm, allowing measurement to begin much closer to the sensing surface. The maximum measuring range can be configured to any value from 30~300cm through commands, with a factory default of 200cm. This adjustable range helps adapt the sensor to containers and tanks of different depths without relying on a fixed full-scale measurement distance.


Six Algorithm Modes for Stable Liquid Surface Measurement

This liquid level sensor integrates six underlying algorithm modes for different liquid conditions, including real-time value output, three-stage liquid surface sloshing filtering, small step filtering, and high sensitivity operation. Algorithm modes 0, 4, and 5 output real-time values with a response time of 100ms, while modes 1, 2, and 3 output processed values with a response time of ≥2000ms for more stable readings. Algorithm mode 1 is enabled by default, and the operating mode can be configured through the Modbus protocol.

Nine Configurable Signal Levels for Range and Viewing Angle

This ultrasonic level sensor provides nine configurable signal levels from 1 to 9, with level 5 selected by default. Higher signal levels increase sensing sensitivity, measurable range, and detection angle, allowing the measurement behavior to be adapted to different tank dimensions and installation geometries. At the default level 5 setting, the measurable range reaches up to 200cm.

Five Power Supply Noise Reduction Levels

This liquid level monitoring sensor supports five configurable power supply noise reduction levels, with level 1 selected by default. The noise reduction function helps maintain measurement stability in electrical environments such as direct battery power, long-cable USB power supplies, and high-noise switching power supplies. Higher noise reduction levels provide stronger suppression while also having a greater influence on the viewing angle.

IP67 Protection with 3.3~12V Wide Voltage Operation

This ultrasonic liquid level sensor combines an IP67 dustproof and waterproof enclosure with a wide 3.3~12V operating voltage range. Input and output interfaces integrate electrostatic discharge protection compliant with IEC61000-4-2 standards, with an electrostatic discharge protection rating of +4K/8K (V). An operating temperature range from -25°C~65°C further supports liquid level monitoring across changing environmental conditions.
