This FP01 offline AI vision recognition sensor combines face, palm vein and palmprint recognition with dedicated onboard processing and an infrared imaging camera system. Designed for contactless biometric authentication, this offline recognition sensor handles image acquisition, feature matching, key encryption and database access locally, then outputs recognition status and ID results through UART for embedded system integration.
Local Biometric Processing without Host-Side AI Computation
This offline AI vision sensor runs recognition algorithms within the module, removing the need to deploy biometric algorithm SDKs or allocate host computing resources to recognition processing. Local feature storage supports up to 500 facial templates and 300 palm templates, providing an onboard recognition database for embedded authentication systems.
Contactless Recognition with 3D Liveness Detection
This biometric recognition sensor combines facial depth information, palm vein features and palmprint recognition with 3D liveness detection to help resist spoofing attempts involving photographs, screen-based video and 3D masks. Contactless face and palm recognition supports authentication without physical contact with the sensor.
Infrared Imaging for Darkness and Indirect Outdoor Light
This infrared vision sensor captures biometric images in complete darkness at 0 Lux, low-light environments and outdoor conditions without direct sunlight. Infrared imaging expands the usable lighting range for face and palm recognition, while direct sunlight remains outside the stated operating conditions.
UART Recognition Results and USB Video Streaming
This embedded recognition sensor provides recognition status and ID results through a standard UART interface, allowing a connected controller to use recognition results without processing raw biometric images. USB support includes UVC/UAC protocols and real-time MJPEG video streaming for applications that also require an image feed.
